Integrated in the purest landscape of the Douro Valley wine region, in Ervedosa do Douro, in the Cima Corgo sub-region, our estate enjoys an exceptional location. Two hours drive from Oporto, the property is located halfway up the hillside, in a group of high hills. The partly paved road that leads to it sets the tone.

The partly paved road that leads to it sets the tone.\n Further down, the river, wide and calm, flows between its two banks sculpted to infinity by a multitude of superimposed terraces, most of them planted with vines. As if a god who fell in love with the place, as a celestial hairdresser, painted this landscape every day in the direction of the water's flow. In this valley where the mark of the man is omnipresent, this last, in the hottest hours of the day, deserts the places, leaving place to the only silence and the breath of the wind.<\/p>

In order to create wines with a unique character, we make the most of the magnificent terroir of the Upper Douro and maintain the plurality of its grape varieties, some of which are endemic to this valley. The wines are made with ancestral viticultural methods and high-tech equipment with a 100% gravity cellar, which saves the wine from the use of pumps during the vinification process.<\/p>

The wines produced at Quinta do Pessegueiro will seduce you first of all by their undeniably superior quality. All the grape varieties of the estate are autochthonous and the vines are the most adapted to the geology and the climate, so particular, of the region. Far from the single-mindedness and dominant tastes that have spread throughout the wine regions of the world, our vine varieties produce wines that express the extraordinary character of the Douro.<\/p>
